In addition, we offer support services, including DMCs, transportation, speakers, entertainment, airfare discounts, and even cruises. On your behalf, we send out RFPs, compile comparative hotel data, deliver information in easy-to-read formats, and negotiate contracts — at no cost to you. MPE has unlimited access to destinations and hotel properties across America and around the world. Because we have no financial ties to any hotel property, the research provided guarantees you a totally unbiased view for your selection process. We are your value-added partner!
    No. This is a common misconception. All hotels budget for placement fees as a normal business expense. Not only will you NOT be charged more, thanks to our contract negotiation skills, you may actually pay a smaller rate per room. In addition, you will also save untold hours by letting us handle the research, allowing you more time to plan your agenda, thus increasing your efficiency.
    We can save you time, energy, and money. As an event planner, you probably wear a variety of hats. At MPE, we focus on just one item…finding the perfect site for your next event. Plus, we have thousands of associated industry contact throughout the world, delivering to you a wealth of first hand information and expertise.
    Absolutely not. You are the decision maker at every step. We simply perform much of the upfront research required for site selection, and negotiate the contract with your approval. You will still work closely with hotel personnel to plan and implement your event.
    CVBs are excellent resources, but they don’t always represent every hotel property in a city or town — while MPE represents them all. A CVB will send out blanket specs to hotels, without qualifying which hotels may or may not be a good fit, resulting in your receiving many phone calls and e-mails from hotels that don’t have the qualifications to host your meeting. MPE is familiar with all of the destinations and properties available, and, after careful research, we provide you with an unlimited, non-biased view of only qualified properties.
    MPE works with a wide range of businesses and organizations. Because of this, the size and type of events we arrange vary widely, from international conventions to small events for board members. Our clients know that the MPE commitment to perfection never waivers, no matter the size or scope of the event.
    As compensation for bringing your event to their site, the property you select pays a fee to MPE. This placement fee is a standard business practice totally accepted in the hospitality industry. Again, MPE has no ties (financial or otherwise) to any hotel or resort property.

    a. Tell us about your event by submitting a Request For Proposal. You will receive a call from an MPE representative within 24 hours who will review your meeting specifications with you and answer any questions you may have.

    b. Next, the MPE SiteFinder process goes to work for you. We research our database of more than 42,000 hotel properties to find those that best match your needs. An RFP is sent to these properties and the replies are complied into an easy to read format and sent to you for comparisons. Our staff is always available to answer any further questions you might have and assist you in making the right selection for your event.

    c. When you have made your selection, we negotiate with the property to ensure that you receive the lowest possible rate in addition to value-added services and benefits

    And remember — all of these services are provided at no cost to you!

    There isn’t one. We realize that some meeting planners are uncertain of our services at first, thinking that this is too good to be true. However, once you use MPE, you’ll realize the incredible amount of time and money we can save you and your organization.
